We are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Pork & Fork Fest in Historic Smithfield, Virginia – the Ham Capital of the World. This contest will be held November 5th & 6th at the Isle of Wight County Fairgrounds near Smithfield, Va. Smithfield is a quaint river-port town rich in Hams, History, Hospitality and HeART. When you step onto Main Street in our Historic District you step into a time when people acknowledged each other by name and Southern hospitality was the unwritten rule. Smithfield is proud to be the #1 day trip destination from Williamsburg and the Historic Triangle. Jamestown and Williamsburg are easy to access via Ferry ride over the James River.
